Slow Feeder Dog Bowls – Puzzle Slow Eating & Lick Mat

The slow feeder dog bowls are designed to help dogs eat at a more controlled pace while making mealtime more engaging. The labyrinth-style puzzle design creates a more challenging feeding experience that can help slow down fast eaters and encourage dogs to spend more time working through their food.

The raised sections inside the bowl make it more difficult for dogs to quickly swallow large amounts of food at once. According to the product information, the design can prolong mealtime by up to 10 times and may help reduce issues associated with eating too quickly, such as choking, bloating and vomiting.

The slow feeder dog bowls can also be used as a licking and enrichment surface. You can spread a suitable treat across the surface and allow your dog to lick it. This provides another way to use the bowl during quiet time or as part of an enrichment routine.

Made from PP material, the bowl complies with the stated food-contact safety requirements and is described as free from BPA, phthalates, lead and latex. The product information also states that there are no FDA, LFGB or EU test reports, so this should be considered when evaluating the product.

Cleaning is simple because the bowl can be rinsed with water or placed in a dishwasher. It can also be used in a freezer and has an operating temperature range of -45°C to 135°C. For maintenance, wash with warm water and neutral detergent and avoid steel wool, hard-bristle brushes and other sharp cleaning tools.

The slow feeder dog bowls measure approximately 19.5 × 19.5 × 3.5 cm, have a listed capacity of 20 oz and weigh approximately 183 g. They are available in blue, pink and green, making them a practical option for everyday feeding and enrichment.
